Red Burgundy WineEstablished in 1529 by Jean Girard, this domaine has remained in the Girard Family ever since. Jean-Jacques Girard's vineyards are situated on east-facing slopes, sandwiched between the premiers crus of Beaune and the grand cru hill of Corton. The wine from 100% Pinot Noir grapes is aged in small French oak barrels for fifteen months before being bottled at the domaine. It is a beautiful, aromatic wine full of red and black fruits together with notes of spice and game.
