Ingredients

  • 320g sheet puff pastry
  • 100g Belazu Wild Mushroom Pesto
  • 1 large Conference pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaves, to serve
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC, gas mark 6. Unroll the pastry onto a baking tray, leaving it on its paper. Roughly score into 18 squares, being careful not to cut all the way through. Lay another piece of baking parchment over the top and put a baking tray on top to push the pastry down. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp. Leave to cool before cutting into 18 squares.

  2. Top each square with a little pesto and a couple of pear slices. Scatter over the thyme and drizzle with maple syrup to serve.
