Goat's milk Gouda cheese made with pasteurised goat's milk in Netherlands.
Rich and rounded, with a subtle goaty flavour and hints of caramel. Our No. 1 Goat's Milk Gouda comes from the Klaver brothers, renowned Dutch cheesemakers. They make it with milk from their own goats, grazed on the lush grass that grows on rich, salty soil between the North Sea and the Ijsselmeer lake. The cheese is matured for ten months, developing mellow notes of caramel and fruit. Great with crusty bread and a dark ale. Made with pasteurised goat's milk. Strength 6.
