Vanilla clotted cream affogato

This Milanese ice cream sundae is served in most Italian coffee houses. Using clotted cream ice cream makes it a little bit more indulgent. You could crumble some amaretti over the top, or serve with an almond cantucci, but it’s fantastic as is.

Ingredients

  • 460ml tub Jude’s Vanilla Clotted Cream Ice Cream
  • 4 x 30ml shots espresso

Method

  1. Place 4 tall, shatterproof glasses in the freezer. When they’re frosty, scoop a quarter of the ice cream into each glass. Pour a shot of hot espresso over each one and serve at once.
