This delicious Al'Fez Falafel recipe was created by our founder, Sam Jacobi, inspired by the flavours he remembers from his Uncle's falafel bar. Simply stir water through your falafel mix, and mould into 12 golf ball sized balls. Either bake in the oven or fry in hot oil until golden brown. Preparation and Usage
Just add water to unlock middle eastern flavours Delicious Lebanese style falafel Add 170ml of cold water to the mixture in a bowl. Combine well and leave to stand for 10 mins. 1 Shape the mixture using a spoon into 12 golf ball sized balls. 2 Bake in the oven on a lightly oiled baking sheet at 180°c for 20 mins 3 Or fry in hot oil for 3 mins, turning every 20 secs until golden brown, draining off any excess. 4 Serve warm on a bed of salad leaves, or why not try in a wrap. Why not try Warm falafel in a wrap made with lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes and cucumber topped with a tahini dressing. To prepare, simply combine 1/2 jar Al'fez tahini with 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 crushed garlic clove, a pinch of salt and 60ml water.
